She loves bold colors, Morrocan/Asian inspired art and decor, and comfortable furniture with clean lines.
My client, Bree, and her family changed coasts from hustle and bustle of New York City to the warmer city of Angels, Los Angeles. While working on this project, their home was undergoing a renovation including a complete gut-job of the kitchen. Working on the sunken sitting room area and dining room meant thinking of the space as a whole including its high ceilings with skylights and lighting options for the entry.
Some items like the Axel leather sofa from West Elm and blue velvet armchairs were not up for negotiation and I was all for both items. She wanted the space to make a statement, a bold way to make an entrance. The design is still a work in progress, but so far so good.
